Jikun Huang

Jikun Huang is founder and director of the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy, Chinese Academy of Sciences.  He received his BS degree from Nanjing Agricultural University in 1984 and in 1990 attained his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of the Philippines.

Dr. Huang's research and publications cover a wide range of issues relating to China's agricultural and rural economy.  He has received a number of awards and prizes from China's government including: the 4th (1998) and 5th (2002) Prizes for Young Scientists of China; Top Ten Outstanding Youths (Scientists) of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Distinguished Scientist Award from the Ministry of Agriculture and Outstanding Youths in National Government Organisation.  Dr. Huang has also received Outstanding Scientific Progress Awards from the Ministry of Agriculture on four occasions.
