H.S. Dillon

H.S. Dillon is currently the Executive Director of the Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia. Dillon attended Cornell University, where he received a fellowship in agricultural trade and development.  After completing his degree, he returned to Indonesia and joined the government as an assistant to the Minister of Agriculture and then moved into consultancy work.  He has served as commissioner for the National Commission on Human Rights and has been a member of the Council for the National Economy and the Joint [Anticorruption] Investigation Team.  Dillon is a strong advocate for agriculture and agriculture-based industrialization in Indonesia where 70 percent of the population is rural and agriculture employs roughly 50 percent of the labor force.
