Achieving the Doha Development Agenda
These seminars provided an opportunity for agricultural trade negotiators from developing and developed countries and experts from IPC to share insights and exchange views on how the negotiations can achieve the promise of the Doha Development Agenda. The sessions provided an opportunity for Geneva-based negotiators, as well as negotiators from capitals, to discuss how the Uruguay Round rules and modalities address the concerns of developing countries and how the modalities and rules need to be modified to take developing country concerns into account.
