The Spring 2003 seminar was organized by IPC and the Monterrey Bridge Coalition, under the Patronage of President Vicente Fox; the Mexican Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources; the Mexican Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food; and the Mexican Secretariat of Social Development. The Mexico Action Summit was a high-level consultation among international leaders from business, government, farming, and civil society, who determine policy for agriculture and development, environment and natural resource management, trade, and the well being of society.
