This seminar made recommendations for how the World Trade Organization (WTO) can make use of regional trade arrangements, such as the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) process. The impact of the Asian financial crisis on agriculture in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) process was also discussed.
