Carlo Trojan studied Law at the University of Leyden specializing in European and International Law. He started his professional career as legal adviser in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in the Netherlands.He joined the European Commission in Brussels in 1973 as Deputy Chief of Staff of Commissioner Lardinois (Agriculture). In 1977 he was Agricultural Counselor at the Dutch Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels.In 1981 Mr.Trojan became Chief of Staff of Frans Andriessen, Vice-President of the European Commission dealing successively with Competition Policy and Agriculture. In 1987 he was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the European Commission to become Secretary General in 1997. His last posting was in Genève (2001-2007) where he acted as Ambassador, Permanent Representative of the European Commission to the WTO and other International organizations. In that capacity he was the EU Negotiator in the WTO Trade negotiations (Doha Round). Presently Mr.Trojan is member of the Dutch Advisory Council for International Affairs and of the Dutch Energy Council. He is Professor of International Trade and European Studies at the Maastricht School for Management and associated with the Chair for International Trade and Regional integration at the University of Barcelona.

Carl Hausmann began as president and CEO of Bunge North America in January 2004. Hausmann joined Bunge as president and CEO of Bunge Europe following the acquisition of a majority stake in Cereol S.A. by Bunge in 2002. He formerly held chief executive officer positions with Cereol S.A. and Central Soya. He began his career in the agro-industrial industry in 1978 at Continental Grain, where he worked in South America, Europe, Africa, and the United States. Hausmann is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers and is a past president of Fediol, the European association of oilseed crushers. He received a B.S. in business from Boston College and an MBA from INSEAD.
Marcelo Regúnaga

Marcelo Regúnaga is Vice Chairman of IPC. He is a Partner of PROMESUR Consulting Group, involved in the advising of agribusiness, trade, and investments. He is Profesor at the University of Buenos Aires and at the University of San Andres. Regúnaga has been a part-time consultant for several national and international organizations, such as the UNDP, OAS, World Bank, IDB, ECLA, IICA, IFAD, CIMMYT, CIAT, USAID, and others. Mr. Regúnaga has had much experience engaging in relationships with many Latin American and European countries. Mr. Regúnaga is also the former Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of Argentina (1991-1993) and Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Food of Argentina (2001). He has also been the Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Mining of Argentina (2006).
Piet Bukman

Piet Bukman is Chairman of IPC and former Dutch Minister of Trade, Development Cooperation, and Agriculture. A former president of the Dutch Farmer's Union, Bukman is a member of the Supervisory Boards of Central Sugar Co., Duna Vermeer, and the Netherlands Development Finance Company. He was the president of EuronAid, a European operational NGO network, specialized in the field of food aid and food security. Bukman also served as special advisor to the director general of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for the World Food Conference in 1995.
Pedro de Camargo Neto

Pedro de Camargo Neto is an agricultural trade and policy consultant. He is presently President of ABIPECS Brazilian Association of Pork Producers and Exporters. He was Secretary of Production and Trade of the Ministry of Agriculture from 2000- 2002. In this capacity, he was responsible for agriculture negotiations at the WTO, FTAA, MERSOSUR - European Union and other bilateral agreements. He was responsible for the development and formal consultations of sector disputes such as the US - Brazil cotton case and the Brazil - European Union sugar case. He was also President of the Sociedade Rural Brasileira from 1990 to 1993 and founder and President of FUNDEPEC Fundo de Desenvolvimento da Pecuaria de São Paulo from, 1991 to 2000. He holds a doctorate in engineering from the University of São Paulo and a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Robbin Johnson

Robbin Johnson retired from Cargill effective January 1, 2007. He was elected Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, in June 2000. In that role he worked with Cargill’s senior leadership team on public policy and communications strategies. Johnson serves on The Cargill Foundation and chaired the former Cargill Citizenship Committee. He also served on the Corporate Affairs Committee. Johnson joined Cargill in 1971. He was named an assistant vice president in 1976, vice president, Administrative Division, in 1982 and was elected Corporate Vice President, Public Affairs, in 1993. Johnson graduated from Yale University in 1968 with a bachelor's degree, did graduate study as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University in England from 1968 to 1970 and attended Yale Law School from 1970 to 1971. Johnson currently serves on the board and executive committee of BlueCross/BlueShield of Minnesota (chairing the Governance Committee) and on the board of the International Food & Agricultural Trade Policy Council. He is a past chair of the U.S. Feed Grains Council and the Canada-Minnesota Business Council. Johnson also is a member of the USDA/USTR Agricultural Policy Advisory Council and the Council on Foreign Relations.
Hans Jöhr

Hans Jöhr is the Corporate Head of Agriculture at Nestlé in Vevey, Switzerland. As such, Jöhr is responsible for providing technical and strategic leadership in the groups' worldwide agricultural raw material supply chain. This includes agricultural policy, raw material quality control, and R&D. Jöhr joined Nestlé in April 2000. Prior to moving to Nestlé, Jöhr served as CEO of AFC Consulting in Brazil engaged in agribusiness and forestry consulting and management. Jöhr is on the Board of Directors of CATIE Costa Rica (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center). Jöhr is also a past-President of IAMA, the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association.
Raul Montemayor

Raul Montemayor is currently the National Business Manager and Program Officer of the Federation of Free Farmers Cooperatives, Inc. (FFFCI), and its mother organization, the Federation of Free Farmers (FFF) of the Philippines. He was recently elected as Vice-President of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP). He is a private sector advisor to the Philippine government in the WTO and other negotiations involving agricultural trade.
Hiroshi Shiraiwa

Hiroshi Shiraiwa is a visiting provessor at Tokyo University of Agriculture. He has served as a Councilor for the Japan International Agriculture Council and has worked in Tokyo, NY, Milan, London, Antwerp, Portland and Chicago, mostly engaged in export and import of grain and byproducts and in management of grain export and import companies. Mr. Shiraiwa joined Mitsui & Co., a corporation focusing on sales, manufacturing, importing, exporting, and international trade and services in metal, mineral, machines, chemicals, energy, and consumer products, such as food and agricultural products, in 1962. He has held the positions of the Director of Mitsui & Co., the President of Mitsui Grain Corp., the Chairman of United Grain Corp., and Director of the International Corn Company. Shiraiwa was also the Director of JAFTA (Japan Feed Trade Association) and NAEGA (North American Export Grain Association).
